Spring means many things to the residents of Northwestern Montana. For many of us mountain athletes, spring signals the start of the 'in-between season'. The 'in-between season' is when we're lucky to have the opportunity to explore the mountains via any number of methods. This is the time of year when we'll likely get invited on a running trip, a rafting trip, and a skiing trip by our friends.
One of the most exciting things about spring in the Flathead Valley (other than sunshine, gardens, and farmer's markets) is the opportunity to ride bikes up the Going-to-the-Sun-Road in Glacier National Park.
Claire and I recently connected with a group of friends to cycle ski... We used bikes to access the snow terrain in the alpine peaks of Glacier N.P..
